Rates
A summary of my skills and experience can be found on my About me page. My rates are competitive within the industry and I usually charge in one of two ways:
Per Project
My usual method of pricing is to take your project brief and then give you a total cost quotation based on the number of hours I think it will take me to complete the task. Once the brief and quotation are agreed upon by both parties (as well as a contractual agreement), I will commit to that quotation, even if the project takes longer than I anticipated. This of course does not take into account changes to the project brief or third-party expenses such as hosting or software licensing costs.
Per Hour
I do have clients who prefer to hire me by the hour and this model works well for clients who wants some simple consultancy with either their website or IT setup. When I’m charging by the hour, I charge in one hour blocks.
Invoicing
I usually invoice for part payment at various stages of the project. This is to protect myself as well as help you manage your costs and budget. Invoices are to be paid within 14 days.
Support packages
The next step for your website
Like a car, your website needs to be cared for to keep it in good working order.
From the essentials of keeping your website secure to monthly updates and improvements.
I offer three monthly packages to best suit your requirements with no lengthy contracts. You can upgrade at any time to make sure your website is always evolving to suit your business’s needs.
Packages available
Security updates
Security and website content updates
Security and priority website content updates
Examples of the type of website updates I can carry out as part of the Standard and V.I.P packages:
- Add new content i.e articles, case studies
- Edit existing content
- Optimise images to make sure your website loads as fast as it can
- Basic styling changes
Major site changes and updates or development work will be quoted for as a separate project, however unused hours from the current month can be used towards this task.
V.I.P packages get priority in my workflow schedule, typically waiting no more than two working days once all information and assets are supplied by the client. Standard packages have a scheduled time of 4-10 working days.
